JAN COX

Jan Cox began photographing in earnest after retiring from a teaching career in 2004.  Cox uses both a Canon S3IS and a Canon 40D to photograph the area’s beautiful landscapes. She also finds much joy in taking super macro shots of the myriad flowers found throughout the land.  She is a member of FRFAA and Plumas County Arts Associations and exhibits at the B & B Bookstore, Backroom Gallery as well as Art Around the Lake at Lake Almanor.  Her work has also hung in various businesses throughout this area.  She can be reached at
